About Viva Europa Travel

Viva Europa Travel plans and books independent, customized European vacations for clients, including family vacations; honeymoons and anniversary/birthday trips; river cruises; spa trips; culinary travel; historical/cultural travel; and bike tours. The travel firm is owned & operated by Erika Christ, an independent travel consultant with extensive destination expertise and family travel experience.

Ms. Christ works closely with clients to craft the ideal European vacation for them. She is a certified Destination France Specialist, Italy Specialist, Destination Germany Specialist, Bavarian Ambassador and Austrian Certified Travel Specialist. She holds a Certificate in Travel & Tourism from Northern Virginia Community College, as well as a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an M.A. in International Relations & International Communication from Boston University. She is fluent in German and speaks some French as well.

Ms. Christ is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), the National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA) and the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN).
